Pierre de Wet started his career at Anglo American Corporation’s Head Office. When an opportunity arose at stock broking firm Huysamer Stals, Pierre was lured away and spent the next three years at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange gaining valuable experience in both the Equity and Capital markets. Kosie started his ITC career in 1979 after completeing a BEcon degree at Stellenbosch University at Infoplan. Going through the ranks from junior programmer to senior manager he left Infoplan in 1990 to join Qdata Consulting in their Cape Town Branch as account manager. He has been intimately involved in the Health Care industry, specializing in Medical Aid Administration Applications since 1991. In 1998 he was the co-founder of PBT and PBTIT (then Gogh’s Ear) and was instrumental in the development of the iMed medical Aid Administration package. Today Kosie is part of the management of PBT and PBTIT and is responsible for client liaison and expert consultation in the Health care industry. Kosie also spent 30 months in Australia with the implementation of the iMed application at MEdibank in Melbourne. Kosie has 31 years experience in the ITC industry. |

Martin Rennhackkamp is a practicing information specialist. He focuses on business intelligence strategy, technical - and information - architectures and business intelligence analysis, design and implementation. Published in over 60 international publications, Martin is an internationally recognised author and speaker. He has published a textbook, was a contributing editor to DBMS Magazine for three years and has written feature articles for various international IT journals, and regularly presents papers at local and international conferences. Jean Du Toit has 31 years experience in the IT sector. Jean started his career at Infoplan as an operator. Soon after joining the company, the programming bug bit him and he made the transition to programming. He joined Q-Data in 1991 where he started developing and maintaining Medical Aid systems and has gained extensive knowledge and experience of systems in the medical aid industry as developer, analyst, and designer. Jean is one of the founder members and a shareholder of PBTit and also one of original designers / developers of the first version of the iMed software. With this extensive knowledge and background of the system, he serves as a resource for PBTit staff and clients alike. Having been around since the company was started; he has also gained experience in the day to day operations of PBTit and oversees the management of the HR and Finance departments. |

Apart from his role at PBTit Jacques Louw is a practising attorney in the High Court of South Africa and the senior partner in a Cape Town law firm. He also holds non-executive directorships in companies ranging from hedge fund administrators to charitable organisations and he is a trustee of a medical scheme. After finishing school at Paul Roos Gimnasium in Stellenbosch, he graduated from Stellenbosch University in 1982 and 1984. When not at work, he spends time between his woodwork shop at home, his family, playing squash in the Western Province league and travelling through the countryside on his motor cycle. |
