Demi

The Standard Demi Functionality consists of:

• A Java-based , multithreading application.
 
• A single view web-based central management console allows single or multiple users to manage an unlimited number of interfaces and batch processes with the standard functionalities.
 
• The ability to create new interfaces, update the configuration of existing interfaces and stop/start interfaces.
 
• Incoming or outgoing interfaces can be grouped by the user per entity or any other configuration for common display, easy access and management per group, i.e. stop all interfaces in the group with one command. Users with administration rights are able to manage the configuration in Demi of file types, databases, servers, FTP sites, Demi groups and Demi users.
 
• The scheduling of single or multiple execution time-slots per interface with interface or job dependencies. Non-interface batch tasks can also be scheduled via Demi, with all the standard Demi functionality being available for that job.
 
• A full audit trail and log are generated for every action per interface or user and stored in Demi. Changes to the interface configuration, run / execution detail, files or messages – received or created – and correspondence created per interface run are available in the audit trail.
 
• Multiple Demi users or non-users can be notified via email or SMS when an interface job is completed, or the job ends in error. The setup and management of who should be notified is also standard Demi functionality.
 
• All incoming or outgoing files, XML messages, emails and SMS’s are compressed and stored in Demi and available for instant viewing via the Demi file search functionality.
 
• Translators for most of the major third-party industry layouts are standard in Demi. The standard Demi translation module will modify incoming or outgoing data as and when required.
 
• Access to local or external servers can be set up in Demi for FTP, SFTP or FTPS protocol. Automated polling of these servers for collecting or delivering of files can be configured in Demi with full audit trail and notification functionality.
 
• File utilities, such as reading, writing, compressing and inflating are standard in Demi.
 
• Listeners for real-time interfaces can be set up in Demi for TCP/IP, HTTP and webservices. The various Demi clients have real-time interfaces with all major switches, as well as B2B interfaces with hospitals.
